Human evolution, or anthropogenesis, as stated in Wikipedia, is the origin and evolution of homo-sapiens as a distinct species from other homonids, great apes and placental mammals. As I’m not an expert in such a field, I’m not going to venture on the idea of discussing such intricate details. However, I’ve always been curious to have noticed that some of us human are more intelligent than the others.
It’s especially so in cases like Leonardo Da Vinci, Nostradamus and many others, who seems to possess knowledge far greater than most can apprehend. I’ve mentioned the names of these two famous people because; both were born into a relatively similar time frame.
Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci were born in April 15, 1452 and passed away on May 2, 1519. Michel de Nostredame were born in December 1503 and passed away on 2 July 1566. It was a time where the Catholic churches were at its greatest. I’ve seen through documentaries that Da Vinci had drawn a picture of a flying machine which was not being produced at that time. Had his idea being developed into a working invention, would the airplane made by the Wright brothers been develop in 1903?
In reality, our aviation history since the Wright brothers till now was only 107 years, and we are already capable of developing flight at supersonic speed and even travel to outer space. Had Da Vinci’s flying machine being developed back then, 500 years ago, which means 400 years ago, we might have sent the first astronaut to the moon. Who would that have been then? Would it have been King Henry IV from France?
500 years after Da Vinci’s flying machine, where would we have ended up??? We shall soon know the answer in another 393 years later…
Likewise, if we’d possess the similar knowledge that of Nostradamus, where we would be in this era now, 500 years away…
Could we have averted many of the disasters that we predicted and claimed to be accurate by many?
How do we convince people that among us that there are a small group who possess such knowledge that we should reckon with? Recently I’ve seen a documentary by BBC on autism. These people who were suffering from autism, some of them, possess hidden talent and skills which most of us failed to notice and understand…
I hope the world will soon be able to accept intangible items such as knowledge and wisdom which is exclusively available to the minority.
