There had been countless of END OF THE WORLD PREDICTIONS since the dawn of time but all I can say is that the world that has been in existence for 4.5 billion years is not going to end any time soon. Reasons being as follow;
1 The Asteroid which hit earth in early time before human existence, had became our moon. Imagine an asteroid as big as that had hit us which resulted our existence. So, even, a mega-quake measuring 10 is not going to destroy the world.
2 The predictions that insists global warming is going to cause icebergs to melt and all ice cap on mountain top will melt is all bullshits. Ask Alchemy himself, the water level now is inclusive of all the top portion of the iceberg. It may cause tidal wave but not raise the level. As for ice cap from mountain to melt, the temperature there has to rise up to at least 20 degrees Celsius and for that mountain top to have that temp, it will be as high as 50 degrees Celsius in low land. That will counter the raise water level effect.
If all that is true, all of us will either be moving to higher ground or underground. Then, no more worries for global warming due to CO emission etc.
