What is Polar Shift?

There has been so much hype about the effect of global warming and polar shift and the world coming to an end. However I really doubt that the world is going to end in 2012. The reason is VERY simple. Scientist believe that the earth was hit by a giant asteroid 4 billion years ago and that asteroid had became our moon. This event had caused the earth that was once a ball of fire to cool and began the first evolution of life.

Just to imagine, a ball of fire that cool down and began forming ice age, then life and technologies as we have it today takes 4 billion years. Our recorded human history goes back to time of Jesus Christ. Anything beyond that in existence is only the pyramid, without any documented text.

In China, we might be able to find history further back in time but however, scientists believed that our humanly existence record a timeline of 4 million years. So there is nobody in recorded history had actually seen whether global warming and polar shift has ever taken place in this long history of 4 million years.

Could the hype about global warming is just an excuse for someone to accrue fame?

I do believe that everything in life happened due to a process of life and evolution. The so called, "Global warming effect" is a process that has to take place so that the ice cap can melt thus the process of polar shift can take place, vice versa.

It's not like the earth will suddenly shift (the two artic and antartic shifting over to the tropic) because if that really happens, there will be a big catastrophe, much worse that a plague or even WWIII).

All crops will fail, icebergs will melt, rising water level, all topography will change. There are signs that the world in changing. The past 1000 years or so, we live in a world of logic and rational thinking but not now. Everything is changing.

We have more same sex relationship, more left handed people, more unexplained incidents and event, we could even manipulate the genders of any living being and even create life in an unconventional way.

Be prepared, the melting iceberg is not an effect of global warming but the effect of polar shift. I wonder what will Singapore be like to have iceberg around its shore? We have no natural resources and can only rely on tourism. Anyone wanna see a polar bear in Singapore?
